ISTAG University Benin was founded in 2010 by Prof. Laleye Bernadin and co-founded by Dr Prince Kadji Moukam and Dr Shittu Waheed A.—educationists, eminent business leaders and philanthropists.
In September 2025, the institution was established and accredited as Institut Supérieur de Technologie Avancée et de Gestion (ISTAG BENIN) by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Benin.
ISTAG University Benin is located on a serene campus with a conducive academic learning environment. Its facilities include a standard modern library, an equipped medical laboratory, a computer laboratory, a sports centre and other resources that support effective learning.
